Successful candidate will oversee everything that is associated with paying an organization’s employees. This includes tracking and verifying hours worked and ensuring that employees are accurately paid for their time. It also includes calculating, deducting and processing taxes and social security withholdings, as well as other company-offered benefits. This position also includes administration of benefits for all employees, as well as daily oversight and recording and communication of discounts and promotions in all restaurant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assumes 100% responsibility for detailed accuracy of staff pay and deductions on a bi-weekly basis.
• Enter all new and transferred staff members personnel information into payroll system on a weekly or daily basis as needed.
• Ensure that all state and federal paperwork for new hires is 100% accurate and filed accurately.
• Ensure accuracy of any and all benefits withholdings, payroll deductions, garnishments and levies, federal and state payroll tax deposit and returns.
• Prepare all new hire reports, federal payroll summaries, W-2’s, wage and hour law compliance reports, paid leave, vacation and sick time reporting.
• Prepare, enroll and follow up on all offered company-offered benefits for all qualified new hired staff, including generating quarterly reports on newly qualified staff.
• Review for completeness and organize daily sales summary packets for all locations, review and record all discounts, promotion, and coupons, analyze data and communicate with Directors as needed on daily and weekly basis.
• Assist in answering telephone calls and taking messages.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Attends all scheduled staff meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with co-workers, supervisors, operations management, and owner.
• Assist in weekly office cleaning tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the comptroller, directors or owner.


Qualifications:
• Associates Degree or equivalent in finance or accounting.
• Must posses a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Posses a keen attention to detail and exercise critical thinking methods to identify and solve problems.
