Centre Volunteers in Medicine is seeking a full time Medical Clinic Coordinator. This is a key position for CVIM, a free clinic serving the medical and dental needs of the uninsured in Centre County.
Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Medical Director, this position has broad, overall responsibility and oversight for the processes, services and systems used to provide medical care to uninsured patients. The Medical Clinic Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, credentialing and managing the paid and volunteer RNs, LPNs, MAs, etc for CVIM; managing the medical clinic budget; and monitoring patient medication needs, supplies, costs and distribution programs.
Candidates should have a current RN or CRNP license along with substantial office and administrative experience in the healthcare field. Abilities to manage multiple programs, work in a fast paced environment and communicate effectively are a must. Medical case management experience is preferred.
